Everyone’s favorite is coming back to Penn’s Peak…Get The Led Out!!

The Philadelphia based band, Get The Led Out, has been dubbed by the media as “The American Led Zeppelin.”  They continue to “sell out” shows on a regular basis leaving audiences feeling like they just witnessed an actual Led Zeppelin show.  GTLO consists of 6 professional rock musicians that have dedicated their time to recreating that true Led Zeppelin experience.  The 6 members are: Paul Sinclair – lead vocals, Paul Hammond – Guitar, bow, Thermin, Billy Childs – Bass, vocals, Adam Ferraioli – Drums, Andrew Lipke – Keyboard, Jimmy Marchiano – guitar and Diana DeSantis – special guest vocalist on “The Battle of Evermore.”

Paul Sinclair, original frontman of “Sinclair,” has been performing in the Philadelphia area for years.  He appeared on National TV when he was chosen to perform as Steven Tyler on the show “Your Big Break.”  He is also an engineer/producer with credits on a number of albums in the “indie” world.

Paul Hammond, also once a member of “Sinclair,” is not only a professional musician and producer/engineer like Paul Sinclair, but he is also a songwriter and owner of Fat City Studios in Blue Bell, PA.  His most recent projects include writing and playing guitar tracks on Time Warner and Comcast radio and TV commercials for D4TV.  He also finds time to work at Elmstreet Studios, which is privately owned and operated by Rob Hyman (Joan Osborne, Cyndi Lauper). Paul was in London recently delivering a custom built guitar to Jimmy Page and while there he also attended the Led Zeppelin Reunion Concert.

Billy Childs is best known for his work as a founding member of the rock band Britny Fox, but listening to and playing Led Zeppelin is where his musical prowess really started.  He grew up with Adam Ferraioli and, at one point in his career, played with Jimmy Marchiano, so Billy is no stranger to the members of GTLO.  He was out in California when the GTLO members approached him about joining the band.  Next thing you know, Billy is planning a move back to Philadelphia and the rest is GTLO history.

Almost 20 years ago, Adam Ferraioli got his start in a Led Zeppelin tribute band.  He has been interested in Led Zeppelin since he heard his first Led Zeppelin record.  Adam has played in a number of bands and with some really talented individuals; Britny Fox, Tangier and musicians from Motley Crue and RATT to name a few.

Andrew Lipke is an accomplished musician who can play a variety of instruments.  He began on piano and when he moved to the United States, he started writing songs for the guitar.  He moved to Philadelphia and earned a degree in music composition.  He got into GTLO as a result of his working with Paul Hammond and Paul Sinclair on Kate Gaffney’s 2005 CD.  He has an original composition featured on the latest Mad Dragon Records CD compilation “Unleashed II.”

Finally, there is Jimmy Marchiano, a renowned Philadelphia based guitarist, who started playing at the age of 8, has played in several notable bands including: Angora, Black Eyed Susan and an East Coast club favorite, LeCompt.  He has quite an eclectic list of experiences in the music business so far with many more to come.  He was managed by Gene Simmons (KISS), performed on the same bill with Guns ‘N Roses and has been in recording sessions with mixer/producer Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Guns ‘N Roses).  The energy and enthusiasm that he brings to GTLO is amazing.

There is also special guest vocalist, Diana DeSantis, for “The Battle of Evermore.”  She has been a singer in many bands over the years in the Philadelphia club circuit and her amazing vocals bring life to the classic acoustic track from Led Zeppelin.
