The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has had two constants since their start in 1966, Jeff Hanna and Jimmie Fadden, with a third founding member, John McEuen eventually returning after a 14 year absence.  Other members have come and gone over the years; including one now rock and roll Hall of Famer, Jackson Browne.  One thing that has definitely remained steadfast over time is their sound of country rock/American Roots Music.  This iconic group continues to add to their already legendary status with their multitude of multi-platinum and gold records.  They have numerous Top 10 hits including “Fishin’ In The Dark” and “Mr. Bojangles”; with the latter of the two being inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2010. 
The spring of 2002 found the band starring in the limelight with the release of their 30th anniversary edition CD, Will The Circle Be Unbroken.  This release was quickly followed by Will The Circle Be Unbroken Volume III.  They produced a PBS TV Special in 2003 highlighting their multitude of guests from all 3 Circle projects and it was eventually released on DVD with a box set Trilogy of the CD’s.  Their most recent CD release was 2009’s Speed Of Life.  Current band members are Jeff Hanna, Jimmie Fadden, Bob Carpenter and John McEuen.
