The new & improved James Supra Blues Band 2012
The year 2012 has proved to be a very good year so far for the band. We have welcomed a new bass player and
released a brand new cd !! Our 3rd release, but this one is special. It's our 1st studio cd. The 1st two were live recordings.
Please welcome "Tip MY Hat To The Maker" Our newest release. Recorded in March 2012 at Dancing Pepper studios in
Nazareth, Pa. Scott Tice owner & engineer, co-produced the project with us. It's a great recording of 5 original songs
as well as 5 select cover songs.
JSBB is a very creative band, we like to say "we're not your average blues band and we live up to it."
We are going on our 4th year now. The band consists on 4 members James Supra on Harmonica & vocals, Dana Gaynor on
guitar & vocals, Suavek Z. on bass & vocals & Al Wanamaker on drums.
We are an extremely high energy band !! And really love playing live. "It's lightning in bottle" Al Wanamaker says.
The band a has a particular nitch for feeding off the crowds energy.
James Supra has a rough vocal style that lends itself well
to blues & blues rock. And his harmonica playing has a non traditional, very modern approach.
Dana Gaynor is a special treat, she really has a way of mesmerizing her fans into a frenzy. She is definitely unique.
A raw, blistering & emotional guitar sound with great stage presence to boot.
Suavek Z. is the newest member of the band!! He joined in early March 2012. He came on board after doing the studio session
for "Tip My Hat". It was an instant bond. His bass playing is strong & powerful, fretted & fretless !! A great vocalist and just an all around
super nice guy.
Al Wannamaker, Well this is the guy to watch on the drums. Full of personality & showmanship. He drives this band night after night, show after show.
He really is the heart & soul of this band.
