In 1991 Country music found a new hit maker with Tracy Lawrence.  His first album Sticks and Stones was platinum selling and it contained four radio hits.  Two years later, Alibis was released and it spawned four consecutive number one hits with “Alibis,” “Can’t Break it to My Heart,” “My Second Home,” and “If The Good Die Young.”  But, not only is he a singer, he is also a songwriter and record producer.  He produced and co-produced numerous albums of his won and other singers.  Along his career path, Tracy was Billboard’s Top New Male Vocalist 1992, Performance named him New Country Artist of The Year, the Academy of Country Music honored him as Top New Male Vocalist and both the Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music gave him 2007 statuettes for his number one smash “Find Out Who Your Friends Are.”  His most recent album release is titled The Singer. He co-wrote six of the songs, co-produced the entire record and created a striking new sound for himself.  This album started out as a bridge project; something out there to keep his fans interested while he worked on the next big project.  But, once the fans got a hold of it, they were sold.  The album became so unique and special; they ended up using it as the actual album instead of just a bridge.  As Tracy says, “In my career, I don’t really need to prove any points anymore.  I don’t feel like I’m searching for anything.  I just want to keep being creative.”
