Peter Noone, also known as Herman, the lead singer of Herman’s Hermits, is a singer and an actor who has been entertaining audiences all his life.  In school he studied voice and acting and started his career as Stanley Fairclough in the soap opera Coronation Street.  It was not until he was 15 that he became famous as “Herman.”  They were a ‘60’s pop band with a slew of hits including “I’m Into Something Good,” “I’m Henry VIII, I Am” and “Mrs. Brown You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter.”  All in all, Herman’s Hermits sold over 80 million recordings of which 14 singles and 7 albums went gold and there were 20 Top 20 hits in there as well.  Over the years, Peter was everywhere; magazine covers, top rated TV shows, Broadway, feature films, a TV show host and even on the soap opera As The World Turns.  Growing up in Manchester, England, Peter found himself a National and International star on all levels.  All this publicity contributed to Herman’s Hermits twice being named Cashbox’s “Entertainer of The Year.”  He has created 2 websites that have become so popular the New York Times call him the “King of The Sixties on The Internet.”  Peter Noone himself has a legion of fanatic followers dubbed the “Noonatics.”  His most recent television role was “Paddington” on the CBS daytime drama, As The World Turns.
