Due to Ryan’s involvement in the filming of the movie The Identical, his concert at Penn’s Peak is one of only a very few live performances for this year.    Ryan Pelton portrays Elvis like none other and his return to Penn’s Peak will have the fans flocking to the show.  He is an award winning tribute artist who has performed all over the world from large arenas right down to the local country fair.  Ryan performs all eras of Elvis; from the raw-edge fifties all the way to his Las Vegas seventies.  While performing as Elvis over the years, Ryan has had the opportunity to work with many of the performers who also worked with The King in his heyday.  The list includes The Jordanaires, The Imperials, The Sweet Inspirations and Charlie Hodge to name a few.  Not only does he portray the singing Elvis, but he is also acting in a movie as Elvis.  Hounddog is an independent movie and an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival that stars Dakota Fanning, Robin Wright Penn and Ryan Pelton as Elvis.  When he went for the audition, all he knew was that they were looking for a 1960’s looking Elvis.  He auditioned and got the part, hands down.  Most recently, American Idol fans had the pleasure of enjoying Ryan Pelton’s Elvis when he performed a duet with Celine Dion, “If I Can Dream.” 

You better get to Penn’s Peak fast before all you hear is Elvis has left the building!!
