Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy – 2013 Twist of the Wrist World Tour features a show that presents bold, new arrangements of the amazing instrumental music of ELP; a band of which he was a founding member.  The show will combine both video projection and music by the power trio of Carl Palmer, Paul Bielatowicz and Simon Fitzpatrick.  There is not a singer with the band on this tour.  Carl decided that he did not want a singer trying to sound like Greg Lake; instead, they will just perform the instrumentals.  The keyboard parts will be done by Paul on his guitar, as a new twist.  Coinciding with the tour, Carl will be releasing his new concert DVD Decade and his first signature collection of fine art; A Twist of the Wrist – The Carl Palmer Art Collection. 

ELP played their final show together as a band in 2010 at London’s High Voltage Festival.  This was their 40^th Anniversary and a great send off.  Carl still honors their musical legacy by presenting ELP music with his own solo band.  He has been on the solo tour since ELP disbanded and has released several solo albums.  Carl has also remained active with ASIA (Geoff Downes, Steve Howe and John Wetton), another band of which he is a founding member, since 2006 by touring and recording with them.  The ELP Legacy Tour is nearly two hours of compelling percussive skills from the drum master himself.
