Making their first appearance at Penn’s Peak, Blood Sweat and Tears!!
Blood Sweat and Tears have proven over time that great musicians produce great music. This would explain their 42 years of non-stop touring. Hailed as one of the greatest horn bands in the history of popular music, Blood Sweat and Tears’ stellar alumni over the years has greatly contributed to this accomplishment. Blood Sweat and Tears started out in Greenwich Village, NY, with an amazingly talented group of guys. So talented in fact, they acquired a lot of “firsts” in many categories. They were the first band to tour behind the Iron Curtain, the first band to have 3 hit singles from the same record (“You’ve Made Me So Very Happy,” “Spinning Wheel” and “And When I Die) and the first band to combine rock with jazz. The players have changed over the years but the talent remains the same, impeccable. Over the years they have record sales in the millions, 10 Grammy nominations and 3 Grammy Awards. The most prestigious award is their Grammy Award for Album of The Year. The current esteemed line up consists of: Rob Paparozzi – vocals, Dave Gellis – guitar, Glenn McClelland – keyboards, Gary Foote – bass, Andrea Valentini – drums, Teddy Mulet – trumpet, Steve Jankowski – trumpet, Jens Wendelboe – trombone and Tom Timko – saxophone.
Do not miss another one of Woodstock’s finest bands, Blood Sweat & Tears, at Penn’s Peak!!
